Professional Development Workshops

Summer 2014 Offerings

Resources from current and previous workshops are available on our Self-Directed PD page.

The Department of Digital Learning is offering workshops for teachers and paraeducators. Workshops are designed to increase skills in the use and integration of technology in classroom instruction.

  • All workshop registrations will be limited to 20 persons to provide an optimal learning environment for all participants.  There will not be a waiting list.
  • There may be prerequisite skills for the workshop.  Please check the workshop description in the Online Registration System
  • Workshops may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Participants will be notified of cancellations at least two days prior to the workshop.
  • Participants are responsible for unregistering from workshops no later than 2 days before the workshop if they are unable to attend.  Persons who  unregister less than 2 days before the workshop or do not attend may require additional approval to take another workshop.
  • Interested participants can register by going to the BCPS Online Registration System and:
    • Select Workshops Catalog
    • Select a Workshop
    • Click on Register

Note:  If you do not see a register button then you have already registered for a previous section of the workshop.

Preparing for S.T.A.T.: Workshops for Teachers

These workshops are designed to help prepare teachers for Students and Teachers Accessing Tomorrow (S.T.A.T.). Participants are expected to bring a fully charged, district-issued device to their session. Registration and more detailed information on each workshop can be found in the Workshop catalog on the BCPS Online Registration System

UPDATE 6/23

Shaded workshops are full. It is possible that spots will open if participants unregister. Follow @BCPSODL on Twitter for updates on open spots. Please check the Self-Directed PD page for resources and videos on the HP Revolve, Windows 8.1, Office 2013, and more.
